Students have a test on decimals tomorrow. They have been working on several review worksheets and have been given the opportunity to ask any questions while they work on these assignments. The study guides were due today.
Today we are doing a demonstration of putting food coloring in water and putting carnations and celery in the cups of water, so students can clearly see xylem and phloem in the plants.
We continue to ready Secret Garden. We are having so much fun with this book!
The kids are in the middle of the Russia Unit. They are loving working on the foldables that so many of you helped to make. Thank you for all you do!
As a reminder, students are still required to do a reading log every week. However, the requirements have changed this quarter. They may continue to get their reading log signed or they may write one sentence for every 20 minutes they have read. They must do either one to get full credit, but not both.
